Dear Samantha

I am writing to you today because I was very sorry to hear that you are not feeling very well at the moment. It’s certainly no fun when you are not well and you must be feeling a little bit miserable.

My name is Saudavel and I am a Get Well Fairy. I live with all my Elf and Fairy friends in the magic Buttercup Forest which is not very far from your house in Kew. Of course, unless you are an Elf or a Fairy you won’t be able to find Buttercup Forest, because it is a special, magical place where only the Fairy Folk can go.

Anyway, last night as I travelled near Kew, I could hear Cuddly the teddy bear and Samantha the dolly calling out to me. So I visited your house and discovered my very special friend Samantha has not been feeling very well lately.

I am very sorry to hear that Samantha but I know it won’t be long before you are back to your normal, happy self. Of course, you being such a big girl now (5 years old!) usually means you will be back in the best of spirits in no time at all.

You may not know this Samantha, but the Get Well Fairy visits all the little girls around the world who are not feeling well. When everyone is asleep, I pay a secret visit to each child and sing a special, magic Get Well song known only to the Fairies. This magic song helps the children to feel much better in the morning....
